Hi. I'm looking for a book which I read sometime around 2010. It is part of series, and it is not the first book. The female main character is kidnapped and wakes up in another state (of the US). She finds out that she is in another state by calling home. When she tries to call home, she discovers she needs to put the prefix number. She escaped and went to the stables. There she finds a stallion shifter in his stallion form from which he cannot shift back. I think he wears something silver. She helps him by taking off the silver thing, and with his help, they escaped. She rides on his back when they jump over a fence with a whole herd of horses. I think she was injured, that's why she rides on him. The stallion shifter then becomes a part of a special unit with which she is connected. He has several girlfriends - mare shifters. One of them is a lawyer. These mare shifters have a brand. Thank you for your help.
