As Gwen and Robert grow closer and she dives deeper into the investigation, grave questions arise. So does Gwen’s suspicion that Robert is hiding something—and that he might not be the only one with a secret.

(view spoiler)[It was just okay and I don't think it's thrilling. I didn't know why I was feeling this way until I find out that the the Bloody Heart killer was John and Brooke and they are already dead. There was no urgency in this book. But I like how it came together in the end. (hide spoiler)]

Ch 12 (view spoiler)[This is really interesting so far. It’s a real predicament to be a psychiatrist like the heroine dealing with borderline crazy people. How hard it must be knowing when the fine line has been crossed and you should alert authorities. Like she says you can’t arrest people for things they want to do or dream of doing. It’s not until they do that there’s a problem. Honestly I don’t know how people do such heavy things for a day to day profession lol (hide spoiler)]

Finished (view spoiler)[It’s funny because I really enjoyed most of this story, until the end if I’m being honest, things just tapered downhill for me and I’m pretty unhappy with the end. I do like having all the pieces to put together and ironically the teacher was involved in his own nefarious deeds to which he almost paid for in the end with his life. Thank goodness Scott’s mom stopped him lol. Ok but for reals it was Robert coming in with the knife that did it. I’m sorry there’s no moving on from that, JUST NO! (hide spoiler)]
