I've been on a reading spree this year and it's my first solid year of constant reading since I was in high school, I'm beaming with nostalgia.
Add me as friend if you'd like. I constantly just rant and talk to myself about the books I'm reading on here.

there's very little in ways of genre that i won't consume, favorites are fantasy, sci-fi, supernatural horror, suspense and mystery. occasionally, when the mood strikes i love me some historical nonfiction. but if the book sounds good i'll probably pick it up and give it a chance.

I'm new to the reddit community, but really excited to dive head first into this. Super excited to knock out some bingo squares so if anyone has some recommendations I would love to hear them.

mostly intend to lurk the fuck out of this group for recommendations, but if theres a book for the monthly reads im into, then sure ill join in!

Long time user of Goodreads and trying to get more involved in discussions on Goodreads and Reddit.
I'm trying to read all kinds of books (except the uber classics which never work for me) and hopefully the monthly reads and recommendations will help with that.

I look forward meeting you personally on Goodreads and r/Fantasy!

Great work on 5 already!

I'm /u/erikvanmechelen on Reddit, hope to see you there

Lately I've been posting more than I have in the past--what--six months? I want to stay active now and post more reviews--if you've seen the post on Nimona, Wyrd Sisters, or Summer Knight, that was me and those are some of the books I'm reading/am interested in. I'm excited to try to be more active and am excited to be a part of the community again!
Hi, I am u/HeLiBeB. I am new to r/Fantasy and have not been very active yet when it comes to posting or commenting. But I really enjoy reading what everyone else is writing!

I'm u/_Mandos_The_Doomsman and I'm looking forward to making new friends and knowing new books in the realms of Fantasy reading. I'm also focused in becoming a writer myself, so r/Fantasy is also a place for inspiration.
I intend to join challanges and bookclubs in the subreddit but I'm still getting acquainted.

There was an earlier writer named Quevedo. He wrote: from eleven to noon I read good and bad authors; because there is no book, despicable as it can be, that does not contain something good.

I'm more of a lurker than a poster. Recommendations and meta-analysis of the genre are some of my favorite posts. I gravitate towards books with strong characters and dialog, and away from random "chosen one" and "farmboy with a sword" tropes.
I am also an aspiring fantasy novelist (Norse themed fantasy), Judo blackbelt, and more importantly, a pretty good homebrewer.

Been a fantasy fan for as long as I can remember. I started on the Fighting Fantasy books before I could truly read them. Had a spell where I didn't read at all, but I found a hostel and bought Tad Williams' The War of the Flowers, and I was hooked all over again.
Last year I read 110 books. I read a real variety, and 50/50 male/female, but I got so engrossed in the numbers that I was foregoing some of the books that I really wanted to read. This year I chose to read only bigger books, but seem to have got carried away with that, too. Oops!

I’m a late bloomer to fantasy so I’m slowly going back and reading all of the classics that I missed out on in my younger years. (I’m making myself sound really old but I’m only 25 haha). Feel free to add me as a friend, I wish I had more fantasy readers on my homepage so I can see what everyone’s reading.
Thanks! :)

I'm a huge consumer of both adult and YA SSF and I'm a library frequent flyer. My favorite book tend get away from the monarchy/generically historical European setting and branch out into newer and weirder territory! If you'd like to add me as a friend, go for it; not too many of my current friends read a lot of adult fantasy, so it would be great to balance things out a bit.

I am Raúl, my reddit user is u/raulcd. I love reading and love fantasy so here I am. I also read fiction and other types of literature. I just love learning new things. I discovered audiobooks not long ago and I use them on my hikes or when I am around home doing something that doesn't require much concentration, cooking, cleaning.
I hope everyone is safe and reading and remember to wash your hands.
I am from Spain, feel free to add me as a friend.
Thanks,

I'm u/Bibliogoblin.
My favorite genres are fantasy, historical fiction, biographies, and literary-style fiction. I have written one book, a fantasy.
I have recently become active on Goodreads and am finding it to be the social media site where I feel the most at home. I suppose that's because books. And readers. I love meeting folks who read.
I'm having a blast writing reviews (just a couple so far, but it is fun.) I'm starting with reviewing work by famous authors. It doesn't help the authors any, but does give me some practice and I'm learning tons about myself.
Feel free to add me as your friend--the more the merrier! I love networking.

I work as a technical writer in my day job, so reading isn't always what I want to do when I get off work, but I also get some times at my job when I can pop on an audio book while I work on system maintenance, which accounts for about a third of my recreational reading this year. Unfortunately, my commute got cut in half as a result of company expansion, so I don't get to listen in the car anymore.
