I've been a member for awhile but I don't spend too much time on goodreads. However, I check r/Fantasy several times a week and try to post there when I can. I really like that community and was interested to see that so many people use goodreads to get recommendations for books.
I've read some of the books of the month, but I always seem to be out of sync. But, I'd like to participate more and look for some ways to get some recommendations.
My reddit name is u/htiw which stands for ... nothing. I was lazily trying to come up with an easy to remember name and everything I picked was taken and I really didn't want to add a number on the end. So I ended up with the conjunction "with" spelled backwards.
Maybe I'll try to come up with a better story.

No surprise, but I am u/theadamvine. Always looking for new fantasy to read. Write some, too.
Hallo from Germany.

I've been a longtime lurker on r/fantasy but only (today) committed to getting more actively involved. My reddit name is u/Sarrenai which is the name of my favourite character in the fantasy novel I'm working on.
Always interested to see what the Reddit community has to say regarding the latest releases, and looking forward to reading with you all. Feel free to add!

I'm /u/vicky216n
I mostly lurk the subreddit, but I comment from time to time. I like to read anything, but my favorite genre is fantasy. Feel free to add me on GR!

I'm /u/remixslayer on Reddit. I read mostly fantasy and sci-fi. Feel free to add me on Goodreads!

New to r/fantasy, but have been on Goodreads for quite some time. I lurk r/fantasy on a daily basis and haven't posted there much, but I would love to become more involved. I'm /u/isadora_sweet on reddit and just now decided to participate in the Bingo Challenge for this year; I've already got 4 squares covered!
Feel free to add me on GR, happy reading!

I'm pretty new to Reddit (/u/readeatsleeprepeat) but the idea of the fantasy bingo caught my attention. I read most things but for me fantasy is like the comfort food of literature - it's what I crave at the end of a long hard day, or when I'm feeling down or stressed. And just because it's comforting doesn't mean it can't be as good/well-done/delicious as some of the more high-falutin' literature out there!

My Reddit name is u/all_that_glitters_ and I go through phases of commenting, lurking, and avoiding Reddit. I do want to participate in bingo this year (I started last year and then got sidetracked). My goodreads page is a bit of a mess and I use it really infrequently. but looking around more I'm not sure why! Trying to get more involved, and figure it's a better way to track bingo books than the post it notes on my nightstand are. I'll probably be compulsively organizing shelves and stuff for awhile, and trying to figure out how it works exactly. cheers!

r/fantasy has a fantastic community of readers and writers, and thanks to authors promoting their own work + the SPFBO, I've been reading crazy amounts of independent stuff I wouldn't have heard of anywhere else. Pretty grateful for what we've all got going here.

I'll try to participate in the monthly book discussion if the piques my interest. I'm also looking for people to connect with in the hopes of finding more material to add to my reading lists so feel free to add me if you're like-minded!

Mom says I should get out of the house more, and make friends, so I am here to begin to learn to talk to other people.
I hope it does not make anyone in this group uncomfortable that I am needy, clingy, and require constant affirmation that I am a valid human being and not a pest.
In return I will be everyone's bestest friend ever. I can do that. I will make eye contact across the internet and befriend all and cut your names on the souls of my left foot not my right one that has the names of my old writing group from Writeon which did NOT fail because I made everyone leave.
So; uhm, anyway; hi!
PS: I didn't make Authonomy sink either.
PS2: I am user u/RaymondStElmo

I write general fantasy and urban fantasy. I'm hoping to learn more about writing, read more, and write more. With any luck, it'll free me from corporate drudgery. Probably more luck than I have, but it doesn't hurt to be hopeful.
I joined this group based on the recommendation from the /r/fantasy sidebar.

I write SFF, and have a couple novellas out, I'm also running a kickstarter for my latest book.

So, where am I supposed to update what I've read? I use Goodreads, but Reddit is totally new to me as a user. I'm u/goldensunprincess.
I just finished The Bloody Chamber and Other Stories last night for my 5 fantasy short stories box.

My passions are reading and listening to music, especially alt pop/rock. I get so many recommendations from reddit so I thought of join here.

Doing the bingo has definitely broadened my reading categories, and for the most part (aside from the nonfiction category) has been very entertaining as well as enlightening. I even enjoyed the horror book that I read, which was We Have Always Lived in the Castle, by Shirley Jackson.

Love reading just about any type of spec fiction. I've not been a very active participant here at all - mainly due to time constraints (work full-time, married, father of 3 kids, involved at their school and church, etc.) like many of you!

I mostly play video games in my spare time, like Dragon's Dogma or Skyrim, but right now I've been sucked into Shelter and Stardew Valley.
