I am really thrilled to start reading this book. I remember watching the movie sometime long ago and all I remember is that I really liked it. I also read that the Author was 15 years old when he started writing this book. That's really amazing!

Just finished chapter 5: Awakening

(view spoiler)[ When I started the book, I really had a problem getting what’s happening. I had to re-read a couple of times. I guess I had a little problem getting used to the writing style.

The story started a bit slow which made me feel bored at first. But when I got into the story I started enjoying it, especially when the dragon hatched.

I really love the relationship between Eragon and the dragon. It made want to adopt a kitten somehow. >U< (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 15 : Therinsfold
I like the book so far! Didn't feel bored at all!

(view spoiler)[ I really like the advices that Garrow gave to Eragon and Roran. I have written them in my note to read them whenever I felt like I want an advice. when I read them I predicted immediately that Garrow is going to die. So his death was no shock.

Brom is being really secretive about his past. He knows a lot of information to be just a traveler. Not to mention, he looks like he also know how to handle swords. Can't wait to discover who is he. Mabye he's a Rider, who knows? (hide spoiler)]

Done reading chapter 36: Legacy of a rider

(view spoiler)[ I am actually pretty surprised that my guess in the previous comment was right! So Brom was really a Rider. That’s a sixth sense for me.

I like how the book is going so far, but I feel like this series is going to be really long. I mean I have already finished half of the book but Eragon still didn’t encountered neither the King nor the Varden. Now I see why there are four books in this series.

Anyway, l like how Eragon is progressing. Especially how he had changed from being a reckless person to a cautious one. And I have been really enjoying reading the conversations between Saphira and Eragon.

Actually, there something I want to point out. Why the hell is it obvious who will die next? IT’S the UNpredicted deaths that leaves the reader feeling sad! Right now I feel nothing towards Brom death. I have been mentally prepared for his death since the herbalist told Eragon about his future. I would like it if I felt a little sad about his death. Its not that I like to be sad, but still. (hide spoiler)]
