The protagonist is a girl, maybe 14-16 years old. Her mother disappeared. She feels like an outcast on the island. There is a forest that she goes into, I think that's where she finds the grimoire. The forest has a green color which is described as "the green of evil". Super specific detail but idk man, maybe it'll help. Either there or in the house she's in? She starts using it with some simple spells.

There is a mean girl on the island. The protagonist discovers this girl is also using a grimoire. The girl uses it for bad things. I think she uses it in relation to a boy? Or maybe to hurt the protagonist? Or lift herself up? There she uses the last page. The protagonist sees her dragged into the ground by a bunch of hands. Those hands are the hands of other witches who used the last page. The protagonist thinks she sees her mother's hand.
