Brittany, that's a good start but we need book genre (e.g., YA dystopia/sci fi) and plot details in the header/ topic title (at the top of the page). We have thousands of YA book requests, so threads with vague headers are closed.

All I really remember from it is there was some type of controlled society. The characters would talk as if they were a collective group ..Anthem by Ayn Rand maybe????
Kinda sounds like Son by Lois Lowry. But it’s been awhile since I’ve read that one.

All I really remember from it is there was some type of controlled society. The characters would talk as if they were a collective group saying "We" instead of "I". They would each be given a number they were referred to as. The higher ups of the society would give appoint them their life long job.
The main character was a guy, and he liked this girl who was chosen for the job as a child bearer.
I'm sorry it's not much but it is all I can remember.
