M | 53 comments I finished this morning! I’m not typically into supernatural stories bc they can be a bit slow to ramp up most of the time imo but I really enjoyed this one. I liked the family so far as I thought they were perfect for this story slightly dysfunctional unorthodox but they also oddly love each other? Kind of like the Addams family-ish but not quite? I don’t know how to explain it, but I liked it for the story!

I agree about the family. They were unconventional and definitely odd at a distance, but loving and close and honest with one another. It really worked within this story.

I highly recommend Blackwater which is the story of the Caskey family.
