I have gotten so many in the past month! I was down to just 3 on my TBR shelf and I've added 11! I now have:

The Ferryman by Justin Cronin Beautiful Ugly by Alice Feeney The Lost House by Melissa Larsen Penitence by Kristin M.E. Koval Head Cases by John McMahon A Killing Cold by Kate Alice Marshall The Queens of Crime by Marie Benedict Nemesis (Orphan X, #10) by Gregg Hurwitz Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice (Finlay Donovan, #4) by Elle Cosimano Finlay Donovan Digs Her Own Grave (Finlay Donovan, #5) by Elle Cosimano Parents’ Weekend by Alex Finlay The Love Haters by Katherine Center

I also received physical copies of:
The Women on Platform Two by Laura Anthony The Trouble with Anna by Rachel Griffiths Penitence by Kristin M.E. Koval

Still have these past due physical copies:
Carolina Moonset by Matt Goldman The Cherry Robbers by Sarai Walker Bad City Peril and Power in the City of Angels by Paul Pringle

And I still have a couple widgets I want to accept and a few pending! I seem to be swamping myself again. I was doing so well! But, in fairness, I'm really excited for all of them. :)

Excellent! I needed a push for that one. lol I won't be able to fit anything else in until after the new year. So, how about after The Lost House. Maybe January 8th or so?

I thought you already had The Ferryman? I thought you had it but didn't have time for it when we buddy read it. It was so boring and disappointing lol. I don't think any of us liked it. And it's long!

message 858: by Kristie (new)

Kristie | 2898 comments Mod
No, unfortunately. I started it, couldn't get interested in it, and put it aside. So, it is just hanging out there on my TBR indefinitely.

So happy to be approved for It's a Love Story It's a Love Story by Annabel Monaghan by Annabel Monaghan. I read Nora Goes Off Script by this author and really enjoyed it. I have no idea when I'll get to it, but I've been wanting to check out more of her work.

On deck I have

Cute Fantasy Art Class Mystical Anime Besties - Learn to Draw over 50 Charming Characters by Naomi Lord The Lost House by Melissa Larsen (audio, next one on my list to listen to) How to Be a Saint An Extremely Weird and Mildly Sacrilegious History of The Catholic Church's Biggest Names by Kate Sidley

Am debating. I didn't really like One Big Happy Family, but maybe should try another one.

message 866: by Elyse (new)

Elyse (winesaboutbooks) | 1526 comments I enjoyed The Block Party more than One Big Happy Family so I'm willing to give her another go.

I just got that too! Yay! The Locked Ward

I also got a widget for Something I Keep Upstairs by JD Barker. I usually love his books, especially his MK thriller series, but I didn't care for the last one I read by him with James Patterson (The Noise). The end was just too weird. Plus his books tend to be pretty long, so I skipped the last couple of widgets. I have a feeling that I enjoy him more as a thriller writer than a sci-fi/fantasy writer, but since I skipped the last two I'm considering this one. It is 489 pages and publishes in May. It sounds more like a horror maybe, but at least it doesn't seem to be co-written.

The Locked Ward by Sarah Pekkanen Something I Keep Upstairs by J.D. Barker

I was just approved for Nobody’s Fool. I haven't decided if I'm going to try to read Fool Me Once first. I already own it, so I could read it if I have time. Oddly, I own a bunch of Coben's books (13!) because they always look interesting to me, but I've never read one.

Jessie (Saffity) (saffity) | 62 comments My current list of TBR from NetGalley. Other than We Meet Again (which I grabbed as a Read Now after the publication date), my goal is to get each book read before or around the publication date and get the reviews out.

I've never read Lisa Gardner. I have quite a few of her books on my TBR though, including the first two from this series, which I already own. I really need to give her a try.

I was recently approved for Nobody’s Fool. I haven't read the previous book yet, but I'm looking forward to it anyway. I'll probably have to read them in reverse.

I just got The Man Made of Smoke. The approval came through about 10:30pm on Friday night. :) I always think it's strange when approvals come thought in the middle of the night or on the weekends. It must be the only time they have to go through requests.

Nobody’s Fool by Harlan Coben The Man Made of Smoke by Alex North

Dieuwke (dieuwke78) | 14 comments I got “The Girls who grew big” by Leila Mottley, quite looking forward to starting that. And a romance called “slow burn summer” (penguin) by Josie Silver and still on my shelf “Very Dangerous Things” Lauren Muñoz (YA whodunnit)

That looks like a good variety, Dieuwke.

Nice. Lilisa! I have a few that have been pending forever. I may request a few new ones. I also have a couple of widgets I was hesitating on that I should go back and take another look at.

message 891: by Lilisa (new)

Lilisa | 575 comments I have some pending ones too, Kristie, but luckily they don’t publish for a bit, except The Case of the Elusive Bombay Duck, which I got approved for and downloaded at the end of February. I’m reading it now as it published last week!

I hate when they are pending for a long time and they approve you last minute. I've withdrawn a couple of requests lately. The ones I have pending now mostly publish in June, but I have one April 8th.
