I read a bunch of these in middle school, they were unrelated short novels and I remember them usually being pretty intense and dealing with heavy topics. I think the publisher/series started with an O, like ocean... something or other? have been trying to remember any of the names for days but I can't quite get there ugh! I can see the covers, I think they usually had a solid colour like blue or red background at the top with a white title and a black and white photo of a teenager?
