Ch. 20 (view spoiler)[ Well those chapters flew by! I am loving this but I need Raisa and Han to meet again and like have more contact with each other plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I literally didn't even like Amon as a love interest, I've been over him for quite a while. Fiona is beginning to peak my interest, I wonder how different she is from her brother. And I need Micah to get what he deserves the little shit face. Ugh he makes me mad. I don't know if Han should trust this Crow dude or the Dean. I'm getting sketchy vibes from both of them. Ch. 27 (view spoiler)[ I SO SHIP HAN AND RAISA YES! Also I am really worried for Han, I think Crow is definitely possessing him and doing things either to Han or finding out things that he shouldn't. But this isn't good! NOT GOOD AT ALL! I'm also worried about Hallie, she should be back by now, I feel like something went wrong. And I think the lesson about Aediion is going to be a trap for the Bayars and it won't be good. (hide spoiler)]

And I was not surprised when Crow showed up at the lesson thing. Of course he would. But it was interesting that he couldn't use his own magic, I wonder who he is. And then all that shit with Micah taking Raisa- I am not happy. Plus they almost got captured by Gerard and ew no. At least Raisa managed to get away, I hope she makes it somewhere safe at least. Ch. 14 (view spoiler)[ Oh god this has been intense from the beginning!! I didn't think Raisa was going to make it or that Han would find her. I'm so glad he did! And poor Edon Byrne, I really liked him. I wish he hadn't died. And the Queen! Something totally happened to her, that vision Raisa has while with the Gray Wolves was real af and someone did something to Marianna. I have a feeling it was Gavan Bayar somehow. I hate him and his children! They need to pay for everything they did! Also, I totally knew that Crow was going to turn out to be Alger Waterlow, it couldn't be anyone else. I think that will be really interesting. Also, I think there's more to the Breaking than anyone knows and Crow is going to have to tell Han the truth soon. I feel like Han and Raisa are the key somehow and only together they'll make it work. Gosh I have so many feelings from these fourteen chapters like I AM FREAKING OUT! And Han is not going to react well now that Raisa has come clean :(((((((( (hide spoiler)]

And I really hope Willo pulls off her confrontation with Bayar, this needs to happen-- I want Bayar taken down. (hide spoiler)]

Review:(view spoiler)[This was quite good. I enjoyed it a bit more than I was expecting.

I liked the dual POVs of both Han and Risa. It made the story much richer.

I have a strong inkling that history will be repeated and Han and Risa will play out the part of Hanalea and The Demon King.

I really don't like Lord Bayar. He might have his reasons but to me he seems corrupt.

I'm not too sure I like Micah either. He is basically his fathers puppet it seems.

I was really sad that Han's mother and sister died. I can't believe Lord Bayar burned them alive!!

I like the balance of the wizards, the clans, and the rest of the Queendom. (hide spoiler)]

12% (view spoiler)[It took me a bit to get into the writing style of this one. It isn't as fluid as typically like, but once I got into the story I got used to the writing style and started to like the story much more. So far, so good. I like Han. I am curious about his father and why his mother is so mean to him though. I am also curious abotu his metal cuffs and what their significance is. I like Dancer as well, though he seems more mysterious to me. I wonder if he is actually sick in some way. I don't know that his mother would worry about him otherwise. Bird is cute. I think that he attraction to Han is adorable. I wonder if they will explore it more as the story goes on. Her demeanor definitely seems suited to a warrior, so hopefully, she gets her wish of trade.

Micah seems like an arrogant ass. Raisa seemed strong-willed and defiant, which I always love in a heroine. I am curious about her father. It was stated that he travels a lot, but the queen was obviously flirting with Micah's father on the hunting trip. Even Byrne and Raisa noticed their flirting. I am curious to see how this unfolds. I am still a little confused about the clans and wizards and what the order of things is. Does all of this get easier to digest as the story goes on? (hide spoiler)]

I thought that word building was more slowly built in this book so rather than all of the info on how the world works being presented at once, it's scattered throughout the book. And Micah is totally an ass lol.

Yeah, I felt that the more I read the easier it was to read. The flow got a little better.

19% (view spoiler)[I am not sure how I feel about Raisa yet. She seems romantically interested in Micah, but mildly. She thinks that he is handsome and certainly enjoys kissing him, but then her childhood friend shows up after being gone for years and he is looking good to her it seems. -shrug-

I liked the chapter with Lucius. He is a strange fellow, but I like him. He knows a lot about the past, and it doesn't really seem to match up with the history that Han knows. I am curious about his cuffs. Lucius asked him about them. So now we know that the amulet that Han took from Micah belonged to the Demon King. I wonder how Han fits into all of this?

Oh, and Raisa's nurse cracked me up. She doesn't take any crap. Haha. (hide spoiler)]

30% (view spoiler)[Poor Han. I feel bad that he got beat up. Since he used to be the leader of a rival gang, I would think that he had some trick up his sleeve to keep from getting beat up so badly. At least they didn't take the amulet.

Han's mother is horrible. I feel even worse for him having to deal with a mother that beats him. His sister was cute though. He seems like a good big brother.

Magret made me giggle again. At least Raisa was able to talk her into coming with her to meet Amon. There is definitely some attraction there. Maybe a relationship will pan out. Micah certainly was not pleased that she had been with Amon. We'll see how that turns out.

I like Han and Mari's teacher, Jemson. I am glad that Han decided to stay a bit for the lecture. He was asking so many questions about the demon king and Hanalea that I think Jemson was confused. (hide spoiler)]
