I am liking the story it is progressing well and I love it so far.

The fantasy parts of this story well developed I like how the magic works in this universe.

I also just generally like this story it's well developed and flows well I wonder why I don't hear much about these books.

The romance has finally started and I am almost done with the book I like it though although it got interrupted I hope it develops more in book 3.

I have finished this book I loved it starting book 3 now.

Cindee....if you re-read the entire first book...you can add some thoughts or comments under spoiler tags...to indicate your progress through the book. It will help you score buddy read points if you decide to include the book in the challenge :)

I am not good at that so I post general thoughts and what I liked about the book and book 1 does not count only book 2 I reread it after only 3 months.

On to I am 162 pages in and loving it even better than the last book.

I am 228 pages into the book and the story just keeps getting better I like how the story is progressing and how the characters are affected by it all it is so very interesting to read.

(view spoiler)[I understand why Han feels the way he does with Raisa not telling him the truth and the fact he believes that since she is a blueblood and that he thinks her family is at fault for his family's deaths and he is conflicted and most definitely in love with her. But sometimes how he acts is so frustrating and I wish someone would smack him for his attitude. (hide spoiler)] So rant over I love the story and everything adds more depth to the story that just keeps getting better.

I am loving the story the characters have grown so much with everything that happens in the story we get more interesting and grounded characters.

The romance has pretty much skidded to a halt at this point I know it will start again at least by the last book but it is so very annoying I know it makes sense for this to go this way with the forbidden love and all.

I love this book I just finished it the romance came back and then fizzled out again but even with that the story is well developed and very interesting.

Chapter 8 (view spoiler)[ Raisa is finally at Oden's Ford, and I think Han is going to get to soon too, hopefully, that means the story will start to pick up. I've bored, it doesn't seem like a lot has been happening because everything that has been happening has nothing to do with the plot, the world in interesting but journey to Oden's ford was boring (hide spoiler)]

I am 112 pages in and I am enjoying the story and how the characters are progressing so far.

I am now 202 pages in and I like how the story is progressing it just keeps getting better. The further I get the more interesting the characters get.

I love the pacing and how the characters have developed to this point. I love this book so much I just have to finish this book as soon as possible.

I am 400 pages in and loving it so much I love the story and characters. The pacing of this story is so very good best high fantasy I have read in awhile. I am enjoying everything about this book I can't wait to start the sequel series.
