Fantasy, fantasy world. About 2 princes who leave their palace to find their own way in life. Youngest joins circus, oldest starts by fishing

Ok, so I read a book once around in 2011-12 (Uk, not sure if the americans have this book but it's a bit more detail) and it was one of my favourite books I have ever read and I've lost it now for 9 years and I think it's about that time to try again

The best description I can give on it is a little of the plot from what I read. The story starts with two princes (their names are quite foreign so I'll be refering them to prince 1 and 2) who are quite young who are starting to grow tired of being in their palace. (I think they were somewhere were palaces would be previlent such as the middle east, india, or places of that fashion. However not in a place like europe or north and south america. The world itself was entirely made up but I feel this could help.) The brothers don't go down the same path, the first wishes to become an entrepreneur and goes off to find his way. He has a talent of being able to fit inside of very small boxes and even attempts to fit into a shoe box (he makes a bet that he can fit inside of it and doesn't manage to fit.) during a stage show infront of quite a group of people.. He then gets scouted by a circus for his acrobatic skills to which I believe he leaves after some time. That is all I can remember for prince 1. The second I can't remember as much but I'll try my best.

prince 2 is more matured and I believe is also older. He also leaves the palace, first going out and fishing on a boat and then leaving. I believe he goes off and starts to join somewhat of an army (I hope this is correct) between this time he has ran into his brother once or twice. And unfortuntaly that's all I can remember for prince 2.

I've also come to remember that there was a girl who lived in the Palace that boy 1 used to hang out with around the swiming baths. She encourages boy 1 to get out and find his own way in life

A k comes to mind when thinking of the name of area this story takes place in. And I belive there is a girl who lives in the palace, perhaps a maid that prince 2 fancies.

I've spent around 5 years looking for this one damn book and I've gone mad doing this search alone. If there's anyone out there who might have read this book, know it's name or even go out of their way to find it I will be eternally thankful.

For a little background context I read this book in 2011-12 and I was in primary school at this point. The genre of the book was not magical and had more of a realistic setting apart from the world being entirely made up. The book had it's own map inside of it which showed both the world and the Palace. The outside of the book I belive was a beige colour with a picture of the either the Palace itself or it was one of the princes.
