Oh, this is so perfect!!! I've been wanting to read this!!! 😃

Evie | 16 comments Hi, I’m new here! This is my first group read (do you call it a group read) and I am about half way through. Enjoying the book so far!

Evie | 16 comments Who do you ship? Aspen or Maxon? I wished it could be Aspen, and that Maxon and America could develop a really solid friendship and that the story would focus on the politics. But I don’t think it’s going in that direction.

Mia | 133 comments Ahh when I read it first I was with Aspen - just like I was originally for Gale in the Hunger Games - but as it went on I found him really annoying. I 100% became for Maxon! I love them 😂

Sorry, haven't been active here much! But yes, Evie, we call it group reads and welcome! I hope you enjoy it here and all the books we read!
I'm ashamed to say that I actually forgot about this group read and haven't gotten a copy yet. On my way now to find one. 😂

I just read this last year and absolutely LOVED the entire series. So I am doing a reread this time around and going with audio this time instead of print. My library loan just came through today, so starting it now. Looking forward to the audio.

Finished this and it was just as good as the first time I read it. I enjoyed the audio version very much. I also picked up The Queen, the 0.4 novella to accompany the series. I didn't like it much and wouldn't recommend it for younger than high school. It had some pretty heavy topics of abuse, alcoholism, and such. I also picked up the audio of the 2nd book in series, The Elite, and working on it now. I plan to do the entire audio version of the series back to back. Love it.

I am on Book 4 this morning and almost done. Likely starting Book 5 soon. How are y'all doing? Are you enjoying it?

Mia | 133 comments I don’t have time to reread the series right now, but I remember thinking that book four and five with America’s daughter weren’t as good as the first three - you’ll have to see what you think having re read all five books!

I finished the entire 5-book series last night via audio book. Of course, books 1-3 are AMAZING, book 4 wasn't as good but likely because I missed Maxon and American. However, I was surprised how much I enjoyed book 5. I also listened to The Siren by the same author and liked that as well. Kind of hoping for a sequel to that.

Evie | 16 comments I finished books 1-3. I really enjoyed the character arc of Celeste, the maids and the whole setting. The ending might seem a bit convenient but still worked perfectly.

Now that you say you liked book 5 makes me want to read 4 and 5 too.
