For sure. I'm starting a readathon on the 10th, the Tarot readathon, and I'm excited :D Taking each prompt as I finish my next read, so it's all impulse..

Yeah! Each card pulled pertains to a prompt. So I'm doing it in the way where I randomly generate a card, read a book, generate another card, so no planning and I have no idea what's going on my tbr

I need a month of being able to do that but I always set up too many BRs and request too many Netgalley arcs haha.
Finished Girl in the Mirror and started Siege and Storm, read another chapter of You Deserve Each Other as well
Let me know if anyone wants to Buddy Read anything. I'm about to get a bunch of books from my library so let me know as soon as possible.
Wolf (Alpha) wrote: "Let me know if anyone wants to Buddy Read anything. I'm about to get a bunch of books from my library so let me know as soon as possible."All my plans for the month are in the second message, if there are any titles you are also interested in :)
Maddie wrote: "Finished Girl in the Mirror and started Siege and Storm, read another chapter of You Deserve Each Other as well"Woohoo. I planned to read so much tonight and then... just didn't. Oops!
Haha I'm so impressed with myself that I'm already 167 pages into Siege and Storm. I have 2 hours before I have to go out and I plan on reading for most of that! Should get a good bit done!
Hoping to finish Siege and Storm today! Then I'll have read a 450 page book in 2 days which I'm happy with

I'm hoping to finish Among Thieves and get The Marvelous Oz, which is another short BR, completed today too :)
Nice work!
Yeah we just watched the first Fast and Furious and then after the rugby we are watching the second one, so now it's time for a shower before I get through a few more yt videos

I love the F&F films so much! That sounds like such a fun day :) I just woke up and don't think I have any plans for today anymore, so have lots of reading and Netflix time :)
Oh cool! Yeah I did a little bit of reading this morning but really not sure what I spent my day doing. Probably youtube haha
YouTube is far too addictive. I need to set up a blocker on the app or something if I'm going to get through my tbr for the rest of the month lol.So, I forgot I completed a book last night, didn't realise how far through my current physical read I was nor how quick my current audio was too, so I'll have three reviews to post in an hour or so and still have the rest of the day to read :)
Oh nice! I don't think I'll get through Siege and Storm today, I still have 150 pages left and we are about to watch the second Fast and Furious, but we'll see. I really want to pick my next readathon prompt
Oh yeah, I forgot you were doing the readathon. How is it going so far? It is such a fun motivator to complete books :)
I'm just reading Siege and Storm, I did plan to easily finish it today but I got stuck doing other things instead :) So tomorrow I'll finish it up haha
Heads up to everyone I am starting a new job, working for my local county library. Finally, after all these years of working toward this moment, it has arrived! While I am over-the-moon excited for this, it is already cutting into my reading time, and will continue to do so for the next several weeks. I will still be reading as I can but honestly I am unsure how much time I will have. Just a heads up to you all.
Jamie wrote: "Heads up to everyone I am starting a new job, working for my local county library. Finally, after all these years of working toward this moment, it has arrived! Thanks. It is strange since I’ve been technically working there as a second part time job for a few weeks now and already being offered a fully salaried career. Very exciting!
Jamie wrote: "Thanks. It is strange since I’ve been technically working there as a second part time job for a few weeks now and already being offered a fully salaried career. Very exciting!"Oh, wow! That's amazing! Well done, you :)
sorry I haven't updated anything yet. I've been so sick with this pregnancy. I'm definitely still reading though. Nothing can stop that. As soon as I can get up and get on my laptop I'll update my books. I've been keeping a reading journal so I remember my reviews for the book lol. But again I do apologize. I know we've fallen behind a lot but we'll catch up when I post my books.
I'm going away from the 16th to the 22nd, but I've also taken the 23rd off work and am pulling a 3-day weekend, will do a 24hr readathon if I have time! Tbh I'm more looking forward to the 3-day weekend than I am the proper vacation!
@Wolf Ooh you poor thing! I hope you feel better soon :) No need to worry about falling behind though. If we win or lose it doesn't matter and is all just good fun :)@Maddie That sounds fun! I hope your readathon goes well too. You reminded me, isn't there a Dewey's readathon happening this month? I'll have to check it out, if so.
No they cancelled this month's readathon for some dramatic reason, I can't remember what. But I've seen nothing about it.
Maddie wrote: "No they cancelled this month's readathon for some dramatic reason, I can't remember what. But I've seen nothing about it."Aaah, no way! Maybe I'll just do my own too then :)
@Maddie Oh damn, I just saw they chose HP as the July theme, alienating many of those taking part. Yikes! It looks like it is back on on August 7th though.@Izzy Maybe A Good Girl's Guide to Murder? It seems to have similar vibes and there's a BR for it running right now that I'm hoping to jump in on too :)

I have read that. Please recommend another one. It does not necessarily have to be like Truly Devious. Just a very good movie (I don't like romance though). Thank you

Thank you and I meant books not movies.
I'm doing a 24 hour reading challenge so I'll try to update when I'm done with that. I have to many books to update anyways so here's a ton more I guess lol. See y'all in 24 hours
Hey all! I've been going through a bit of a slump recently so that's why the books are coming in slower, I'm so sorry about that. But hopefully I'll be picking it up in the next few days :)

Please don't update them all at once. It makes it tricky for us mods, I think there's a limit to how many you can post at once, 10 or something I think?

I posted nine yesterday. I didn't realise I had waited so long to do reviews. I felt so sorry for poor Saar who had to update the feed so many times!
Maddie, I never update all at once. I know it makes it hard on you guys. and I appreciate the work you put into it. I'll space my updates out
