here are some tips for reading audiobooks when you are new to them-
-try reading along with the copy. play the audio and look at the words in your copy at the same time.
-try reading the audio for rereads first, that way you are already familiar with the text so it will be easier to understand.
-find a good speed to read at. you don't need to read at 2x speed or anything like that. try different ones out and stick with the one that works best. i read at 3x or 3.15x speed. :)

where do you get your audiobooks from?

i read audiobooks from audible and scribd. i also read from librivox.org where there are public domain books for free. sometimes i read through yt as well. :)

how long are they? the main reason why i have never tried audiobooks is because it's much faster for me to read something as opposed to listen to it for 10+ hours

ah i think the song of achilles is about 10 hours. the hobbit is almost 11 hours? the others are longer i guess.
