Lol, I meant that I had high expectations for Achilles and Patroclus in the Illiad but seeing as it isn't that great I'll stick to TSOA as it is the best Achilles Patroclus retelling

i mean it's an ancient classic so it's timeless and amazing like that but it's not very gripping and i'm kind of bumbling through

there's something so magical about reading a new favourite book for the first time because you don't know what's going to happen and you slowly grow to love it
rereads just don't hit as hard
