First, this book is not Gulliver's travels or lord of the flies. I read this book when I was a kid (mid/late 2000s). It starts with kids (at least one girl and a couple boys) who are on a vacation at a beach when they are somehow swept away into the ocean and later find themselves stuck on an island. This island is full of tiny people, governed by a tiny king, whom the small people say can help the kids get off the island. On the way to finding the tiny king, the kids have to drink tiny barrels of water and eat many tiny portions of food. There's one scene where the girl discovers bedsheets that are the size of handkerchief. (This is also how they realize this adventure had not been a dream when they return home; the girl finds the tiny handkerchief in her pocket once she wakes up at home). Anyways, they somehow find their way back home where the adults don't believe their tale.

Would love to know what the title of this book is.
