I ended up starting this today, even though I'm still reading the Conspiracy of Us. I've read through chapter 5 and I like it so far.

the first chapter (view spoiler)[That was quite a way to open. It looks like one of the main characters was going to kill herself, and when she got to where she was going to do it, she found the other main character there. I'm not sure which was which, though. (hide spoiler)]

I've now read through chapter 10 and I'm really liking this book.

I'm now through chapter 20, which is about halfway through the book. This one has been a quick read for me.

Elizabeth (view spoiler)[I feel like she hides a lot from others herself, so she can really see through the facades of people. She's definitely making some mistakes by swearing to a teacher and getting in trouble for that. (hide spoiler)]

I've through chapter 25 now. I really like this book. It's powerful and engaging.

I finished this book, and I loved it.

Emily (view spoiler)[I'm glad that she was able to get help and to progress towards getting better again. I liked how her part of the book's ending showed how she wasn't completely better yet, since things like that don't just happen super quickly, but there was plenty of hope for her. (hide spoiler)]
