Middle Grade Paranormal(?) book about male main character, either in elementary or middle school whose teacher goes missing. He somehow finds her trapped in a blue beam of light, but no one believes him when he tells them. Likely read 2014-2016

Definitely a book for younger audiences; it couldn't have been longer than 300 pages. The boy tries to take a picture of his teacher in the blue beam as proof to show his classmates/the authorities, but all that shows up in the picture is a bright blue stripe and not his teacher inside of it, so no one believes him.

The teacher says that she can't tell how much time has passed because she's been stuck in the light for so long.

Book might have been part of a really mainstream middle grade series, but I'm not sure.
