SOLVED. YA series about 4 or 5 kids with superpowers who had them because their mums were injected with something when they were pregnant. [s]

I read this series between 2015-2019 and it is a YA series (i think) and it's about a few kids who all have superpowers because their mums were injected with something when they were pregnant with the kids. I believe it starts with a scene where a boy who had just started puberty (that's when the powers showed) and he was in a school assembly and he used his telekinesis to smash a window (because he was bored, i think) but he didn't mean to; he didn't even know he had powers. One of the other kids could mind read and another could fly. One of the boys doesn't know his dad but one day he talks to a man who then takes his dna off of the boy's lemonade glass and it turns out that he was his father.

The books were written in the first person and I believe each one was written by a different child.

The only other thing I can remember is that there was a boy with a younger sister who also had superpowers and everyone was confused because no-one knew why she had them and it turned out they were twins but her embryo had been frozen and then she was born later.

Oh, and all the mums died after the birth because of the injection of superpowers.

This sounds like the Medusa Project series by Sophie McKenzie. The first book is The Set Up and it starts like you remember with a boy (Nico) discovering his powers in assembly:
