Chapter 1: (view spoiler)[I really liked the first chapter. I feel sorry for Maybell. She is always treated like she did not get a promotion at work. Also, for Gemma to catfish her because she was feeling insecure about her feelings for a guy is wrong. I think the death of her great aunt Violet may open an opportunity to branch out and be her own person. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 6: (view spoiler)[I really liked how the story about how Violet and Victor met and their romance. I like the interactions between Maybell and Wesley as well. I think their romance will be great. I feel bad for Maybell because she did not get to spend time with her great-aunt Violet while she was growing up. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 11: (view spoiler)[I want Wesley and Maybell to get together, but I am loving their competitiveness and banter over the hotel. I find it really funny and it makes the story more engaging and fun. Also, I am glad that I finally got a copy of the book and have another chance to read a book written by Sarah Hogle. Ending Thoughts: (view spoiler)[This was a great read. I thought it was sweet, funny, and well-written. I enjoyed this book much more than I did with You Deserve Each Other. I think the characters were great. Maybell was sweet and funny. Wesley was smart and funny. The two of them together was a great match. I am happy that I read this book. I am ready for more books by Sarah Hogle. (hide spoiler)]
