This book belonged to a high school classmate whom I do not kept contact, and it's been years since I finished high school. I don't remember a title or the author's name. I only read bits of it out of boredom during classes in 2012. I can only remember an intense moment where a boy (13-years-old I believe) kills another of the same age. It stuck with me to this day because he did not only kill the other but also smashed all of his teeth and cut off his fingertips to make it impossible to identify the body. Then he stole a car I believe and took the corpse to a swamp and threw it in there. I am after this book because it was a very intense reading for me and I would like to know how it ends, what happens to the killer and and also get the story from the beginning. It's probably not as intense as I remember, but I was younger when I read. However I believe these details are accurate and very specific even tho I don't have any other information on it.

Do you recall where or when the story was set? Anything about what caused or motivated the murder?
Not really, I am sorry! As I said, I only read bits while I was bored. Back then I wasn't very into reading so I was just jumping pages to pages or not really paying attention until this specific event caught my attention, and when my classmate stopped bringing the book cause she had already finished I didnt really cared. So I never caught the beginning of the book nor the ending. It was in 2012, tho, and I feel like this book could've been released in the 2000s? Just had the 2000s vibe, if you know what I mean. Time and setting inside the book, on the other hand, I really don't remember. The only setting that is clear in my head is the swamp I mentioned. I was expecting I could find this book by just google these key moments cause I am sure there's not that many books with these specific things happening out there, right? But it's harder than I thought.
