I really love this series. I like how all the characters are flawed and morally grey. Jude and Cardan start out as jerks, but they slowly make each other better. I don't think their relationship is abusive, because Jude was also a jerk. Just in a less in-your-face way. They made each other better. my heart-

I loved The Cruel Prince. It's one of my favourite series but I think og Fablehaven or Harry Potter surpasses it somehow.

I love this series so much. I completely agree, Sof, they're both assholes so it's not really an abusive relationship. This series completely ruined enemies-to-lovers for me (in a good way) because no other series will be able to come CLOSE to matching how incredible the enemies to lovers was. It's slow burn, and they're actually enemies. Something you don't really see a lot of these days.

Since the book is from Jude's pov, especially at the beginning of TCP, you want to hate Cardan. You can feel her burning hatred for him. But I loved him and he's my husband so yeah don't mind me.

I love this series! The characters were amazing (read: Jude and Cardan) because of their flaws and were super memorable to me. The writing and atmosphere is *chef's kiss*, the plot unique and twisty. 10/10 would recommend

I’m not huge on this series to be honest. I think it legit promotes abusive relationships (in my opinion). It had the potential to call that type of romance out to readers but it becomes completely romanticized in the end of QoN... This problem aside, the writing is good, I like how short these books are. The political drama was entertaining though.

Hmmm yeah I can see that, but I think they actually made each other become better, as they were both abusive of each other.

Okay so I wasn't a fan of the first book, but I'll say that the series definitely got better as it went.

i loved the first two books (didnt read the last one yet). i really enjoyed most of the characters and i'm rlly exited for the last one since there was that stupid Cliffhanger. but i've also seen ppl who said that the romance gets kinda explict in the last book smut-wise is this rlly true (since i dont like reading it).

I loved this book so much, and the series, though this book was awesome and I loved the ending so much! I loved the Plot Twists, and Jude and Cardan are the best!

At first it was like the hate between Jude and Cardan is so real
Then we meet him
And the world goes - JURDAN! JURDAN!

I liked the book. It exceeded my expectations. I loved how everyone had a real grey side and they could kill for power.
