Started reading the book in 2020.
The story is about a girl that is in middle or high school that survived drowning and became able to open the "veil" to the ghosts world. and have a boy who's haunting her, and with her all the time, probably one who rescued her.

The girl have a small camera that she take pictures of paranormal things with

There was a fire in the school theater that is said to be haunted now and is closed. she goes there with the ghost that is haunting her, opening the veil to the other side to see the ghosts of kid who died there, trying to solve the mystery of what happened.

SPOILER:

they figure out a boy got trapped there when he was performing for a show and everyone forgot about him that's why he stayed stuck and is haunting that theater.

The girl gets her camera broken there
