YA Horror book similar in style to Fear Street perhaps. I read it in middle school (2005-2009). Looked like it was possibly published in the 90s.

I read this book when I was finding my love for the horror genre in middle school. I remember it being set in the past (possibly late 1800s to early 1900s) on a farm and it was about a young brother and sister who make friends with a little girl who ends up being a ghost at the end. There’s a lot of creepy details in between but I’ve forgotten most of the plot. I vaguely remember the cover having roses on it and it was a mass market paperback book. I’ve been trying to find this book for YEARS and it’s driving me crazy!

Were the main characters teenagers or younger children?
