Laughable Loves by Milan Kundera
(All of these stories are set in communist-run Czechoslovakia of the 1960s. Setting is not clearly indicated on GR but city place names (including Prague) are sprinkled throughout the stories. The stories also poke fun at the frustrations and absurdities of communist rule in Prague at the time, as paragraphs 3 and 4 of this essay describe in discussing several of the stories in Laughable Loves: http://www.kundera.de/english/Bibliog....)

Task 5.10 Cheers
Celebrate the 1980s NBC sitcom CHEERS by reading a book of your choice that meets SRC Rules
I read The Other Black Girl by Zakyia Dalila Harris
The Other Black Girl
Terrific read! I love anything book related and the diversity in the work place is still a challenge for many companies so it was good that there was plenty of focus on both sides about this issue. I loved Nella's voice and there were plenty of twists so if you think you know where this story is going, you will probably be incorrect!
