I read this book when I was in fifth or sixth grade (2011/2012). There’s a sequel also. Basically it’s about a girl who’s living in a complete digital age, like everything is done through her computer (school, dating). I remember she goes to this night club and basically they put on this head set where they can customize their avatar to look however they wish to look. So for instance, they’re all dancing and chatting online even though they’re around each other in person. I can’t remember much else other than she’s wanting to break out of this society and digital she and go back to how things were before all of this technology. I think it’s a young adult book, but I’m honestly not sure.

She also has a love interest and I think he’s got like an underground group or something going on full of people who also want to break out of this digital society.
