I really enjoyed finally reading the Percy Jackson books, definitely want to read them again in the future! Another stand out was definitely The Demon Crown- its only my second read of James Rollins' works and I just really liked it.

Also, really proud of myself! I haven't read so much regularly in a long time, thank yall for the motivation! Like I'm actually ahead of my yearly challenge for a change lol

@Leah: I've read the first I think 3 books in the Percy Jackson series and have wanted to actually finish it since I've heard so many good things about the series as a whole. I'm glad you enjoyed them!

@Laura: I read The Gilded Ones earlier in the year and really loved it. It's one that I read as an eBook and do plan on getting a physical copy of so I can reread and mark it up.

@Abigail: Legendborn was soo good! I definitely plan on rereading that one so I can mark up my copy - there are so many things I want to be able to flip back to but I was just so focused on reading it I would forget to mark anything. lol


For me, Just Mercy was definitely up there as a favorite. It was far easier to read than I expected being a nonfiction, but the subject matter was definitely not easy. It handled it well I think though.

Legendborn was a favorite along with Instructions for Dancing. I think there were only a few books that I didn't really enjoy - overall the choices were pretty good!
