SOLVED. Help me find this book. [s]

I remember reading this book my sophomore year of highschool and i can’t remember what it’s called and I’m going CRAZY. I didn’t get to finish it because it was the end of the year and i had to turn it in but i want to finish it. If i remember correctly it’s about this girl who her and her friends go exploring in this abandoned place and she’s with her boyfriend, they all end up dying (but her) and she can’t remember it after moving away. Then she goes to this new school and has hallucinations about these people dying and then it actually happens. I feel like there’s a British boy involved or maybe I’m thinking of something else. And someone died in Spanish class, i think it was the teacher because she was mean to the girl. I also can remember her saving the dog who was getting abused and the boys mom was a vet. Maybe this is a different book though? And she ends up killing the guy who abused the dog. I can also remember a scene of a swamp or something and there was alligators but it was all in her head. Please please help ahhaha

This is so crazy because I was just about to start a discussion about the same book. I think the name is like " The D******* of (girl's name)". The cover of the book is like a girl underwater in a white dress. I think?? I also think the book is the first of a trilogy. pls help cause its been on my mind all day.
