Daytimedreamer | 4 comments So this book I read it years ago when I was in the eighth grade. A girl is able to hear and see ghosts and was overwhelmed and scared of her gift so she doesn’t use it. Until one day a ghost boy appears in her room constantly asking her for her help in finding out how he was murdered. They form a really good friendship/ unrequited love. It takes place in high school this girl goes to a new school and to make a long story short the girl later finds out one of the male teachers preys on younger girls. It’s connected to how the ghost boy is murdered because another girl that was getting preyed on is the ghost boys girlfriend. She disappears one day. He finds out but is too late, gets murdered by the teacher unknowingly and set up to look like he killed his girlfriend. Anyways end of the book the girl that sees ghosts ends up clearing his name bringing those to justice and finally acknowledging her gift. I unfortunately don’t remember none of the characters names or title of the book, but I do know the characters in the book are African American please help.

Daytimedreamer | 4 comments Thank you so much, unfortunately this isn’t the book. The time period in the book I read is more 2000s and the main characters are in high school. They have cellphones and briefly they’re clothes are stuff like timberlands and nikes. I remember the book cover is light blue with a girl on it.

The MCs being African American should be a big clue. Both the girl and the ghost boy were?

Daytimedreamer | 4 comments I’m pretty sure the girl was African American or Biracial but the ghost boy was definitely African-American. Lol it’s like my book fell off the face of the earth, I’m heartbroken.
