Finished my second, Written in Stone. This series keeps growing on me and I am tending to like Olivia more as it progresses.

This is a great series but best read in order. Olivia is a wonderful character and grows so much as the series progresses

Finished the first of my two on June 30. Was all set to make major progress on Hot Six, but my 96 year old dad suffered a stroke on Saturday morning. ..my sister and I are working on getting him to a rehab center.

Prayers for your dad and y'all for support, Gary, and getting him into the rehab center! Rehab centers normally do wonders for patients of all ages (personal experience for both me and family!)

Had a decently long chat with my dad on the phone tonight. He has been sleeping a lot since he was hospitalized. Our first choice is to get him to the rehab facility at the VA in Ann Arbor, which has a great reputation. All the interactions we have had with that facility have been top notch. We have one back-up so far and hope to have another tomorrow. They haven't figured out what caused the stroke.

Needless to say my reading time has been shortened. Although finding out what the deal is with Ranger in Hot Six will get me squeezing in what time I can.

I completed on August 1 and today. I love this series since the author puts some fantastic red herrings in to keep you guessing right up to the end!
