SOLVED. YA coming of age novel, about a girl with many sisters who has a crush on one of the twin boys next door. [s]

The cover has a girl hugging her knees to her chest and looking out the window. The book itself was not a conventional book shape, it was wider than it was tall, around 5 inches horizontally and 3 inches tall.
The main character has many sisters (3?) and her dad is a chef or cook. The family dog always follows the dad around. The oldest sister is rebellious and got a belly button piercing which caused conflict with the dad. The main character plays soccer and she has a crush on one of the twin boys who live next door. Her friend does ballet. I remember a few scenes, one where the main character is at a pizzeria with her friends, and another where she is looking at rings while school supplies shopping. This book is part of a series but I hadn't read the others.
[I think the girl on the cover was looking at a shooting star outside the window? The title MIGHT have had something to do with a shooting star as well, but I am just adding this in case]

Argh, the detail about the book being landscape oriented rather than portrait sounds familiar to me - I'm sure I've seen it queried before (and hopefully solved) either here or on Reddit's What's That Book. It might be worth browsing both archives with specific keywords - I'll do some searching too.
