SOLVED. fantasy novel about a girl is able to help ghosts go to the afterlife

I remember reading this book like 2 years ago but I can't remember the name its about a girl who was able to take ghosts to the afterlife then moved to New Mexico (?) to where her dad or whoever it was make her take some powerful spirits to the afterlife. I found it in my schools library but I can't seem to find it anymore. The cover was like a pale girl with brown hair with her whole body except for her face, submerged under some white looking water while I think some hands were dragging her down.
