My little baby nephew Landon (he's 2 months old) just arrived at my house today with my brother Gabe & my sister-in-law Kahyla. I got to hold him a few times, & he started crying, but I found out if I kiss his head & sing to him softly, it calms him down!
About an hour ago Landon started screaming cuz of a diaper change, & after Kahyla & I got him cleaned up she set him in my arms. He was looking up at me & tugging lightly at my hair (like babies always do) & crying. I squeezed him & started singing to him, & he smiled! Then after about 2 minutesof me singing to him & cradling, he fell asleep! His baby snores are so cute!!! Kahyla said, "You got him to sleep?! You're a miracle worker. I should take you back home with me." I held him for about 45 minutes
So Aunt Lori snuggling & singing to baby Landon & him sleeping soundly & sweetly....one of the best experiences ever in my life <3
