I read a book a few years about a girl who’s best friend either goes missing or dies and she tried to figure out what happens and she ends up falling for the guy who killed her friend. I know the cover had leaves on it and the guy liked photography. I’m also pretty sure the best friend was Hispanic. I think the best friend is also killed in a fire.

Roughly what year did you read it? 'A few years ago' is too vague to be helpful. Were the leaves on the cover green, or were they fall/autumn leaves? What country was it set in? Were the girls teenagers, and was it a YA book?
