That's fine Sree. The intent of the readathon is to make us all read more :)

It would be interesting to see the book choices! List your probable reads in the your post so that BRs can be planned or just inspire choices :)

Probably a weird question, but what does BR stand for in this context?

1. A Burning : Done
2. Beach Read
3. The Lemonade War
4. One Crazy Summer

+1 on Burning. I had voted for the book, but don't think it will win. Maybe we can create a seperate BR thread for the same..

A separate Buddy Read thread will be created where interested folks can read a book together and discuss about it. If you haven't tried it before, I'd strongly recommend you to give it a shot :) :) :)

Yes sure.. sounds intresting.. :)

The Small-Town Sea because of the sea and the beach.
Cuckold because it’s set in Rajasthan
The Hundred-Foot Journey because there is a mango on the cover and mangoes remind me of summer.

Wish you a very happy regional new year! We hope you and your loved ones are all staying safe and will have a fantastic new year.
With temperatures soaring, we at Indian Readers are planning a May-June readathon on the theme of Summer. You can pick any book which fits the theme on all things summery!
You may pick books that qualify:
* Title or Bookcover has Sun, Desert, Beach or Fire
* Story is set in Desert, heat or around water scarcity
* Storyline happens during the summer holidays or vacations
* Florals and bright color
* Any abstract way you can link it to summer
If you are keen on participating - reserve your spot here and update your probable list. You can find your next BR too, while you are updating your reading progress.
(We realised one thing bookworms can't resist it planning and preparing booklists)
Look forward to a scorching summer reading wise!
