I read this book in 6th grade, 2011-2012. The book switches back and forth between the main character talking on her radio show about her childhood and being stuck in a massive traffic jam on the highway. Everyone is out of their cars and making small talk and the main character wanders around and talks to people in their cars. One scene I remember vividly is her finding a camper because she really has to go to the bathroom and tells the woman she's 3 months pregnant to get sympathy and use the bathroom in the camper.
