SOLVED. YA, fantasy, action book, young boy in fantasy world. [s]

Hello,
I'm looking for a book I've read over 10 years ago. Plot is about teenager whose parent divorced (his mother turned out to be lesbian, hmm, why did I remember this :D ). While at neighbour/one of parent friend he got into fantasy world. While in this world he gets involved with royal family (princess named Holy/Holly or similar). He helps prince to take over position of king (late king died/was murdered) and falls in love with princess (it happens over few books). There were several books in this series.

Edit: Just remembered that if prince would be crowned as king then he'd instantly loose crown due to his previous actions and his uncle would take over crown (he was bad guy). So his 1st decision after becoming king was abdication and appointing his sister as new ruler.
