When I was in school (2011ish) I read a book with short stories based around the blitz, and the last one was about someone finding a bunker in the middle of an air raid, and realising everyone inside is a ghost, one of which had a head injury, and he runs away and finds out the bunker was destroyed?
I’m sorry this is a but vague this is the only story I can remember!
