I think the first chapter of the book is good. It introduces the main characters and the base conflict of the whole story. It explains why Simon is so nervous about the emails revealing that he is gay to come out.

I am now on chapter 15 and I am on the part where Simon is only getting closer and closer to knowing who his secret pen pal is. Tensions between him and Martin are getting worse ut he starting to grow on Simon.
