Joshua Chambers (claim_thyself) | 23 comments I think this book around the 90s. As I recall someone discovers a bottle ( I thought it was a root beer bottle). When peering into the bottle they get transported to a world within it.

Rainbowheart | 28670 comments Who is the main character? Male or female? Teenager or younger child?

Can you remember anything else about the plot?

Joshua Chambers (claim_thyself) | 23 comments Sadly I do not. I thought they were younger than a teenager.

Rainbowheart | 28670 comments You read it in 1999 or before?

Maybe something by Ruth Chew. She wrote books about kids transported to other worlds or back in time.

Joshua Chambers (claim_thyself) | 23 comments Before 1999, maybe around 1992.
None of them look like the book but definitely seem like the right arena. So I marked them to hunt for her books

Rainbowheart | 28670 comments I created a Goodreads record for Adventures of Brald.

Joshua Chambers (claim_thyself) | 23 comments I ordered Adventures of Brald and one of Ruth Chew’s novels. Sadly the Brald one is coming overseas. So will still be a few weeks before I can read it and mark this as complete or not.

Joshua Chambers (claim_thyself) | 23 comments Finished Adventures of Brald. I think we can mark this as solved. It was a fresh read as I recalled so very little. However with all the word play I can see why I would have enjoyed it.
