So, I can't remember a lot but I recall one of the stories very well. This boy only ate small amounts of anything his Mom made for him and refused to eat anything more. Worried his Mom visited the woman who gave her new dishes for her son. Every day she was to give him the smaller dishes until her was eating basically from doll plates finally he told his Mother he was hungry and they worked back up until he ate a full sandwich and bowl of soup.

I'd say the book is for late childhood possibly middle school, I hope someone can help me!
