I just finished reading this book. I don't read much comedic-horror but this book was hilarious and silly. I laughed through the entire book. It was a very quick and easy read.

Good question. My kindle won't recognize pages for this book for some reason. But it felt very short, so I'd guess 108 pages.

It’s fast paced, that’s s for sure. I’m about a quarter of the way through and it’s okay so far. I’m guessing this is a tongue in cheek homage to Jason Vorhees?
I thought it would be Campy, but it feels more like a spoof.
Yeah, so far this one isn't quite for me either. It's short though so I'm going to keep at it.
I'm at about 60% now and will probably finish at lunch time. It's okay and I've had the occasional laugh, but...meh. We'll see though, maybe it will finish off with a surprise ending?

I wanted to like it more than I did. I mean, it was okay....but that's about it.
I ended up DNFing this book at around 20 percent. The whole comedic aspect just didn't do it for me, and I agree with Alan and Char that it was too much. I would have liked it more if the humor was sprinkled throughout the novel instead of it being a full-blown comedy.

I'm late to the show... of course! I'm about 40% completed and so far I am really enjoying this one. Yes, it is very trope heavy, but that is why I am enjoying it so much. Very much reminded me of "Cabin in the Woods."
