Sarah B | 9 comments Have I read it? I had two cats named Drizzt and Cattie-Brie. ๐Ÿ˜ I think that should answer the question? Drizzt lived to be 19 years old. He and his sister were Maine coon cats. He had the big black dorsal stripe too. And he was very smart. His sister wasn't though. She was the kind of cat that liked to stare up at the ceiling while on a bed. He had all the brains. And I bet Drizzt was the only cat who had 2 names. Drizzt Do'Urden. Oh and the vet never could say his name. He would just wiggle the finger at me.

Who doesn't love the Forgotten Realms? Although I think I do prefer Krynn a bit more. I just bought an omnibus of the Icewind Dale trilogy.

Karin (hippolicious) I'm a complete noob when it comes to D&D. So I always thought it was a very extensive roleplaying board game accompanied by books that explain the game setting. I also knew there are some videogames. But I didn't know there are actual novels! Any books you can recommend to a beginner to D&D?

How about The Icewind Dale trilogy and the DragonLance Chronicles??

1. The Crystal Shard by R.A. Salvatore

2. Streams of Silver

3. The Halfling's Gem

DragonLance Chronicles:

1. Dragons of Autumn Twilight

2. Dragons of Winter Night

3. Dragons of Spring Dawning

I also loved the Spelljammer setting + novels...and I remember the first novel started on Krynn.

I think I've read all of the Drizzt books... ๐Ÿ˜ I should reread them soon...

Aristotle Blasi I have all three books of the Dark Elf trilogy but I have never gotten around to reading them. Should I read them?

Ian (RebelGeek) Seal (rebel-geek) | 26 comments That game looks pretty awesome! Ozzy!
I totally thought it would be turn based combat, but it looks like it's real-time action based combat.

Kellie | 33 comments I havenโ€™t read any of these. What should I start with?

Ian (RebelGeek) Seal (rebel-geek) | 26 comments The Transitions trilogy (Legend of Drizzt 17-19) is available as audio books. It's all I've "read".
Maybe start with book #1 Homeland
I'll eventually get it from Audible (It's an exclusive).
