For about 5-6 years now I have been searching for one book in particular but nomatter the keywords I try its like the book has completely vanished. It starts out with a boy trying to get a girl to go to prom with him and he tries a unique way of doing this. He tries to create a message about that in her yard with fire and her whole yard is set ablaze. The girl across the street saw this and blackmailed the boy so she could finally have a friend. After they find out the crush found it romantoc and wantes to find the boy that Caused the fire so that she could take him to the prom. This causes the blackmailing to stop but the boy enjoyed spending time with the girl so they keep hanging out with the boy regecting the original girl he wanted to go with for the girl that he has been hanging out with. There is more about this thats clouded in my mind but if I remember any more details I will update the post.
