Girl wants to avenge her father I think? Then gets captured, she falls from something but she has powers so they catch her. This is all in front of a royal family. Girl falls in love with Prince. The other books, there is a big war, fire is the princes power I think. They travel the country to get support and I vaguely remember the book talking about her swimming in the lakes. Any help 🤞🏻

I am guessing you are talking about A Court Of Thrones And Roses series?? idk, bc here a girl is captured and taken to the fae world, by a HIGH LORD, not a prince, and kinda falls love with him. The girl was supposed to live in the mortal realms with her father and sisters, and yes, there IS a swimming scene in this book. You can find wars in the other books in the series, and the girl has power, with summoning fire as one of them. So ACOTAR by Sarah J. Mass mayb?

I literally only read it last year and never saved the name of it! I have no idea why she wanted to avenge her father, just something I vaguely remember. I don’t remember her power either but that I remember a big war/fight in the last book and there was fire! Annoyed at myself I can’t remember the name or more detail 😢 another thing I can remember is like ships that they are travelling/fleeing the country and that she fell through glass and her power caught her.

I’m honestly starting to think it’s not a fantasy book. the main girl lived near a river, she had brothers. I feel like she was chosen to go live with the royals or she did something. I remember a part where her and the love interest were outside a tavern and there was a fight. Bits and bobs of the book are coming back to me, just not the name!!

I think I found it! Red Queen. I don’t know where I got the fantasy part of it but Iffat from this thread marked it three stars and I read the plot and I’m nearly 100% sure that this is the book!! So thank you all 🙂🙂🙂
