I only read the first 6 of crows and I felt like I knew the series because of that story line. So I agree.
I really need to get more into that world.

I'm reading your recommendation

Fab i hope you love it as much as i did!!!!
Im gunna read

Task 16 - 79. Read 6 books that have the same romance trope, teams decide which trope.
Enemies to Lovers

They The Pretty Stars - Eden O'Neill

Im rounding this to 3 starts as i think its the genre i adore thats giving it the extra 5.....
Its moreish and i want to carry it on... But characters feel a bit unrealistic... there is no stopping to question things, December just takes everything in her stride as it is....
My sister goes missing i would interrogate everyone who was friends with her.... December seems more concerned about fitting in and her new puppy.... the only real reason we think she remembers her sister, is her messages to her....
Still i love a bully Romance so.... a middle score

This was not usual for me. I don't usually go the darker themed enemies to lovers trope. Usually I do the light and fluffy funny kind. This book was DEFINITELY not that. I was a bit uneasy with all the drug use, drinking and sex these high school kids were having especially because I have two teens at home (thank goodness for the pandemic, I know they aren't getting up to anything these days, LOL). But I thought the story was interesting, very twisted, lots of surprises. Loved the way it ended though!
I will probably get to more in this series at some point. I just have to gird my loins to be able to see what these high schoolers get up to!

sounds like a plan!

Mare is on the tightrope in this, will she fall and loose her humanity or will she keep pushing so she doesn't lose who Mare Barrow is.
I really didn't feel much of a connection between her and Maven in the previous book, But she seems to be holding on to a lost love in this who betrayed her even to the point of hurting Cal... and i just dont get it.....
Cal and Mare for sure will end up together but they seem reluctant to let love in and keep holding the Faults against each other.....
Mare is on the hunt for new-bloods, kiiling, Saving and losing some Major characters along the way... A great book apart from Cal And Mare.....

This really should be *3 STARS* but I gave an extra 0.5 because I love Jason Clarke.
I don't think I could get over the sex tape debacle. It wasn't that he made a sex tape (by mistake) it was just what made up the sex tape kept playing through my mind. It was the very thorough description that got me.
Now listen, I've read some racy stuff, multiple partners when done well can be great, but this was not that. It just because a recurring theme for me. I felt bad for Hunter, I really did. He got a crap deal and there was stuff that wasn't his fault. I'm glad that he grew and became a better person but I just couldn't get into things the way I usually do because of the way the beginning was sprung on us.
Anyway, Sailor's life wasn't a picnic either. I couldn't believe the betrayal! It was horrible! I really thought that the archery aspect was neat. Not something you read about every day in a romance heroine. And who knew that the competition could be so bitchy!
I liked the other characters. Even Hunters, pyscho brother. I think I will continue on with the series at some point because I know that there is more to him than meets the eye.

This was cute. And I loved seeing so many characters from other Lauren Blakely books too! I hate thinking that things could have been so different if they had just been honest from the start, but alas, it was I guess things worked out the way they should have.
The audio was excellent and there was even a little album at the end. Jason Clarke has a great voice!

This was another cute one. I didn't enjoy it as much as the first two because it was so long before the H/h got together and it was frustrating! But I enjoyed it all the same.
I liked the ending but some parts in the middle just made me want to roll my eyes so hard then would be stuck permanently at the top of my head. LOL, stubborn people!
Anyway, it was nice to see the whole gang and see everyone in their HEAs. I'll miss this gang.

This was another cute one. I was so happy with the way this one went. I think it was appropriate for how the story went. I loved these two main character and I loved Rosalie and Jane. I hope they get a story at some point because I want to see more of this crew.
While I think things may be a little bit unbelievable (but who knows we have a previous first lady who did nudes, so maybe not) but I loved the way the story developed. I wish there had been a little bit more of an epilogue.
Robert and Addie were awesome characters. They both had their scars and they both made themselves into great people because of those scars. I love seeing that!!!
It looks like the next book isn't really that linked and that makes me sad because I so want to visit this world again, and soon!

I had NO idea that Lincoln was hiding THAT all along. I really made me feel for him but I have to admit I didn't feel that much for him when he led Daisy on the way he did. He was so selfish I wanted to throat punch him! He didn't want her to be with anyone else but wouldn't give her everything she needed himself. It made me so mad even though I understood why he was the way he was.
I loved, loved, LOVED Daisy's character. Even though in the previous book I was suspicious of her, once we figured out what was truly going on with her, everything made sense. And she really was brave putting herself out there and taking chances. She deserved all the happiness!
So, as much as I loved the fact that these two got their HEA, I thought Lincoln's big move was just alright to tell you the truth. It just fell flat for me. I feel like he should have had to put in a lot more work on that. But, the epilogue was sweet and silly.
I will definitely be continuing on with this series. And I loved the fact that this book brought in the Wedding Belles series into the mix!
