1. Desdemona and the Deep by C.S.E. Cooney - reminded me setting wise of Alice in Wonderland or Neverwhere by Gaiman. I’ve been really enjoying reading more hopeful books and this fit into that category.2. Transformation by Carol Berg - like all Berg books I’ve read so far she continues to put her characters through hell. Really well written and just epic while keeping the story focused.
3. A Song for Arbonne by Guy Gavriel Kay - I just love the way Kay writes and constructs his stories. I have been trying to space them out so I don’t run out but am getting low.
I had my first really good reading month volume wise in a long time. I read 17 books and not one of them was bad. These 3 stood out above the rest.
Top 3 February in no particular order
The Well of Ascension Started in January had to put it on hold until Feburary
Dragons of Winter Night
The Eye of the World a re-read
Just the one for February:1. Shorefall - thought this was a pretty decent follow up to Foundryside, really looking forward to the Founders, #3 :-)
