Rating/Review: 4.5⭐ What a ride of a book!! So many twists and things happening which won't leave you indifferent. It has a love triangle but even that didn't deter me from loving it. The characters and story is different from the average fantasy romance with the heroine being cruel and too direct which people might not like. There is also lots of angst/drama, including OW/OM. My only complaint was regarding the world-building which was not developed enough and felt confusing at times.

Yes! I really enjoyed it! I have another book in my TBR by this author and I will read it soon because I loved the writing and storytelling. This was my first. Have you read anything by her?
No problem at all! It is a very easy trope to find and I had to read a book set in a prison for another challenge, so win-win.

I haven't read anything by that author, but have lots of the books on tbr though lol.
Yay, I'm glad that the book fit with your other challenge! I'm doing the PtP challenge along with this one and I've only had one time where they overlapped and I had a book that fit both.

Rating/Review: 3.5⭐ This was a pretty fun book and I really laughed at the heroine's inner thoughts. It was a quick and easy read. I didn't enjoy the way both main characters reacted in some situations though, it didn't make sense following their personalities. Also, the book had so much potential but it was wrapped too easily and with some underwhelming scenes, which was a shame as it could have been way better! I don't know why this is MPG reverse harem, it is definitely not, it is an MF romance. Overall it was a good read which entertained me for a few hours and made me laugh.

Task 12 - 12. Read a book recommended to you by a teammate - no pass for this task.
You can do the recommendations however you wish - to the group, to each individual, to the person below you on the list or ?? - it's up to you. If you want to provide a specific shelf to pick from, it needs to have a minimum of 10 books on it. Please include a link to the message with the recommendation you selected in your completion posts.

Rating/Review: 4⭐I head into this book expecting a typical enemies-to-lovers romance but oh how wrong I was. This book was about a lonely and broken girl overcoming her grief and trauma and learning to trust and grow relationships with other people. Very beautiful story, very hard at some points as the writing made you feel all the pain that the main character was going through. You still get the romance but, in a sense, it doesn't feel that it is the main focus of the story. Highly recommended!

This book was a tough read for my little heart. I really liked it though. Only a couple of things I would have changed. I needed more of an epilogue!! You will need tissues for sure. My emotions leaked a time or .... ten! Would for sure recommend. This is only the second book I've read by this author. I think I need to change that.

Task 13 - 90. Each member reads a book published in sequential months, i.e. June, July, August and September 2019. Teams decide which months. No pass for this task.
As a team, select which months you are using. Months can cross between the end of one year and the beginning of the next, for example December 2019 - January 2020 - February 2020. Remember to use the initial publication date. If there is a date listed at the top of the editions page use it, otherwise I will be looking for the earliest dated English language edition regardless of format. Please include the selected dates in your completion posts.

Yes, they are! I need to space her books because they are quite heavy. I recently read Ugly Love which is my 2nd favourite so far but I was crying at the end of the book so much...and I don't usually cry with books. Other books are not as emotional as this one or the one you have read but still way more than the average.

𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 /𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 - 3.5 stars - This was a super quick best friends to lovers read. I liked the beginning a lot, but once they finally got together the chemistry was a bit extinguished, imo. The end felt a bit rushed and I felt like the MCs needed a bit more of an epilogue after all that went on. I needed more closure lol. It was sweet though at times and Griffin was for sure book boyfriend material.

Rating/Review: 4.5⭐I LOVED this book! However, I can see where some people might hate it and some people might love it.
The story is about unrequited love from the MFC (Salem) side while the MMC (Arrow) has barely noticed Salem's presence in all the years he was with Salem's sister and living in the same house. Personality-wise, Salem is loving, supportive, very cute and she will be the one trying to make Arrow fall in love with her. Arrow is hot-and-cold, possessive and at the same time pushing Salem away. Many times he doesn't treat Salem the way she deserves.
This is where the love/hate comes. If you enjoy that type of MMC with the MFC being the one in love with him for years and fighting for their relationship...I HIGHLY recommend this book. Also...the steamy scenes...so well written and super hot! Lots of dirty talking too.

I definitely need to check more books from this author because I also loved Medicine Man and if you enjoyed that one, you will definitely enjoy My Darling Arrow.

Do you mind removing "I read a book published September 14th 2020" as I think it has stayed from my post? I think Kat will be fine but just in case to avoid confusion.
I will check us in now :)

Here is your next task!
Task 14 - 29. Read over 750 pages in books about the same profession, teams decide which profession.
Professions such as athlete, LEO or musician are fine. Just don't try to pass off a rancher and a chef as both being in the food industry - they are just too far apart. Please include the selected profession in your completion posts. Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count.
(Professions such as private investigator, private security, body guards, etc are not considered LEO. I've checked when this came up with another team, then it almost happened again - so I am letting you know in advance.)

If not, I'm totally ok with whatever you guys one :)

Rating/Review: 3⭐I don't like reviewing 3 stars books...there was nothing bad but nothing amazing either. It is one of those books that entertain you for a couple of hours but it won't really stay for a long time in your memory. I enjoyed both MCs, especially Molly. It was a quick and nice read. I wish it had more interactions between the main characters though as I felt their romance needed more development and the ending was too rushed.
